Recently, Yunnan Province Health and Family Planning Commission published 2016 Annual Yunnan Province advanced health and technological talents cultivation list, 2 experts of our hospital were named leading talents, 11 experts were named Yunnan Provincial medical discipline leader, 6 experts were named medical reserve talents. Yunnan Cancer Hospital is one of the hospitals with relatively more listed experts, meanwhile, year 2016 is the year with the largest number of the listed experts since Yunnan Cancer Hospital was established, it is a great breakthrough of advanced talents cultivation of hospital.

Experts were named leading talents group are: Zuozhang Yang from department of orthopaedics (field of study: bone surgery), Runxiang Yang from the 2^nd department of internal medicine (field of study: oncology - Neoplastic therapy)

Experts were named Yunnan Provincial medical discipline leader  are: Yan Chen from Cancer Research Institute(field of study: oncology - diagnostics ), Yongchun Chou from Cancer Research Institute(field of study: oncology - basis), Lin Xie from 1^st department of internal medicine(field of study: oncology - chemotherapy), Guangqiang Zhao from 1^st Thoracic Surgery (field of study: thoracic surgery), Lincan Duan from 2^nd Thoracic Surgery (field of study: thoracic surgery), Shiwen Zhang from head and neck surgery department (field of study: craniocerebral surgery), Jianyun Nie from 2^nd breast surgery department  (field of study: Oncology - breast surgery), Yujie Lei from 1^st Thoracic Surgery (field of study: surgical oncology), Zhiyong Deng from nuclear medicine department (field of study: nuclear medicine), Jimin Fei from head and neck surgery department (field of study: craniocerebral surgery), Qiongyao Guang from nursing department(field of study: nursing).

Experts were selected in Yunnan Provincial medical reserve talents groupare : Chao Dong from the 2^nd department of internal medicine (field of study: oncology - internal medicine), Tingfeng Long from the 1^st department of internal medicine (field of study: oncology - internal medicine), Li Chang from radiotherapy department (field of study: oncology - radiotherapy), Jing Zhang from department of orthopaedics (field of study: surgery),  Yanxin Ren from head and neck surgery department (field of study: oncology - head and neck oncology), Wei Xiong from radiotherapy department (field of study: oncology - radiotherapy).

For a long time, both the party and administrative leaders have attached great importance to talent training work, constantly strengthened talent training. For the past few years, the hospital has been aiming at connotation construction, drew up a talent training project, optimized personnel structure, focused on training advanced talents, and provided great fund support. Presently, there are already 5 Yunnan Provincial leading talents, 16 Yunnan Provincial medical discipline leaders, 6 medical reserve talents in our hospital.

The listed 19 experts will sign Training Plan Specification with Yunnan Province Health and Family Planning Commission, and with the help of the hospital, they will draw up a plan on individual, team and discipline development, propose a specific overall objective on construction and development, annual objective and work plan, these proposals will serve as main basis of evaluation. Yunnan Province Health and Family Planning Commission will establish evaluation archives for the experts, conduct follow-up evaluation and regular assessment. Meanwhile, the commission will offer special grants to the 19 experts in the fields of scientific research, business training, academic exchanges, domestic and international training, domestic and international exchanges and cooperation. Hospital will provide matching funds which is no less than the money provided by the government.

Next, the hospital will continue to promote talent training, improve the quality of personnel training, strengthen the talent team construction, strive to achieve the goal of building a talent strong hospital, scientific research rejuvenating hospital and a specialized cancer hospital in western China with high level.
